My scientific interests (to my dismay) have wandered through human genetics, psychiatry/neuroscience, a bit of theory, and lately, cancer metabolism. At this point, I’m optimistically pretending to “settle down” somewhere at the interface of computational biology and cell biology.. but I’ve made peace with the fact that detours might just be part of the journey..

I do enjoy popular science content, but when it comes to science communication, I'm terrible at it – it's just not my thing, so I tend to stay out of it.

Outside of work, I enjoy long distance motorbiking (this was back in India); exploring New York with Hannah (my partner); and catching up with friends — usually over food, sarcasm, or shared existential crises.
